Carbe-Durand: News

We've just rustled through the archive of old shows - we documented quite a few shows leading up to the filming of our DVD in 2004. Here's one such clip - the band performs Liza's composition "Espiritu" at the bandshell of the Ontario CA summer concert series in 2002.

This is "Captain" Joe Shotwell on drums. I'm playing my old, wonderful Charles Fox nylon (damaged in our 2004 car accident).

Many of you know that we stayed very busy with Incendio all year, touring around the US. There was a little less non-band activity this year, but we did co-write and produce two new songs with singer/actor Jesse Carrion. He had been with the national touring company of RENT, and between his schedule and ours, it was sometimes difficult to get together. But we're very pleased with the way the songs came out, and hope to work together again later this year.

Jim Stubblefield, our partner in Incendio, also completed his first solo CD in ten years, titled "Guitarra Exotica". We mixed about half of it in late Spring, then were gone all summer, so we put the finishing mix touches on when we came back in September. It will be available for purchase in January, and it sounds tremendous - check it out at www.jimstubblefield.com.

In the meantime, we are busy setting up both the usual Incendio schedule, as well as more artist production work.
